Suman Dash started her business with a humble investment of Rs. 2500 in 2011. Vastradi Jewels, is an online as well as an offline venture which awakens every women’s desire to grab every piece of jewelry she wants. She started experimenting with a little collection of jewelry on Facebook and was astonished to see the love and orders she got within a few days’ time. The power of Social Media was awesome. With extreme hard work and support from family, in a few weeks Vastradi was exporting jewelry to majorly all continents.
Suman started a studio 2 years back which caters to every segment and offers an endless variety of jewelry pieces. The idea behind establishing Vastradi was as today the precious metal prices are touching the sky, women are holding back in terms of purchasing jewelry every now and then unlike the older times. But, Vastradi Jewels has broken the ice and has let women reach for jewelry again!! Fashion, imitation, ethnic or costume jewelry, name it and they provide it.
After almost a year and a half of following the hybrid model, Suman’s husband who is also her mentor and an investor in Vastradi decided to join in as the potential was great and they decided to grow into an E-Commerce business. It’s been just 5 months since they launched their website and have never looked back. Today with more than 65,000 likes on their page and an evolving website, they aim to cater to customers in all segments throughout the world and give their customers the best of products at the best of prices and emerge as a leading E-Commerce company. Suman had started her career in Wipro as an engineer and moved on the work with big wigs like Satyam & Reliance. When motherhood came to her, Suman took a break from work and concentrated on this new found happiness. Her husband and mentor Vinay always kept nudging her to start something of her own and that was the birth of Vastradi Jewels in the year 2011.
