What you do is much more important than what you say, panelists feel.

Women and men both should ask for raises and they do, in spite of some influential people making controversial statements about it.

Women do get lesser salaries than men across industries. But it doesn’t look plausible in times to come to go along with this disparity.

Sameer Chadha feels that women tend to not ask for raises as often.

Sarika points out that women feel kind of cheated when they realize that while they are being a supportive system, they get lesser salaries and perks in spite of good work.

As for advice to male managers, they need to be at the forefront and not wait for conversation to happen.

Rajiv Gupta says managers are so hammered with women equality issues that men are afraid of voicing even genuine concerns. Anything said would be labeled as discriminatory.

B L Narayan comments that most of the HR workforce comprises of women so that adds to the watchfulness on fair approach.

Sanjay Modi says that performance is not a gender issue at all, why should it have a gender tonality?
